Lewis Leflar, embraces the traditional label as a counselor at law in his work assisting families with protecting their families and legacies through estate planning. Lewis listens to his clients and tailors estate strategies specific to their goals and objectives.
Lewis is a member of Wealth Counsel, LLC and is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. Working out of the Overland Park, Kansas office Lewis represents clients in matters from simple to complex, involving estate planning, elder law, asset protection, tax planning, revocable living trusts, wills, probate, incapacity, guardianships, conservatorships, retirement planning, business succession, and charitable giving.
Following his own college athletic career, Lewis spent many years coaching football at the youth and high school level. In recent years, Lewis has retired his whistle to the closet with his cleats, and spends his leisure time in the stands with his wife watching their high school age son play football and lacrosse.
Lewis was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Lake Forest College with a degree in biology. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.
